Should You Have Your Insurance With
Preferred Insurance Center?

This question actually requires two answers, one from us, and one from you.  We are going to tell you the type of agency we are.  You have to decide if that is the type of client you are.  We aren't right for everyone, and everyone isn't right for us.  We'd rather get this relationship correct from the start.

Do You Really Value Integrity?   

Some years ago another agent insured someone's home and failed to insure a few pieces of jewelry the way the client wanted.  An honest mistake.  But now it gets ugly.  Sure enough, the client loses the jewelry and there is no coverage.  The agent submitted a false vandalism claim against the auto insurance company!  The company paid the client thinking it was an auto claim.

Now let me tell you another story.  Some years ago I failed to insure a small building on a small farm.  Sure enough a windstorm blew the building over.  Preferred Insurance Center wrote out a check from its own money to pay for the building.  Which agency do you want to be with?  Does it really matter to you? 

Remember, if a agency will be misleading for you, they will someday mislead to you.

Insurance agents make a living by selling insurance..big surprise.  You should realize that, unfortunately, a lot of agencies will say about anything to make a sale.  They will tell you what you want to hear.  Not at Preferred Insurance Center.  If you need to be told bad news, but it is the truth, you are going to hear it. And if we make a mistake, we'll admit it and do everything we can to make it right.  And when you are wrong, we'll try to tell you before its too late.

If you want the truth, even if it hurts, we're the agency for you.  If you will take your money and not care where it came from, perhaps we're not a good match.

Are You Looking For Long Term Value?

Every time you policy renews at Preferred Insurance Center, someone looks at.  If it has gone up 5% or more, for no apparent reason, we check our other companies and make sure you are still getting the best value we have to offer.  We even do this regularly when the cost of the policy hasn't gone up!.  Nobody else does this like we do - nobody.

So lets say you shop around and get quote from several agencies, and believe it or not, another agency is 2% lower than Preferred Insurance Center.  So you go there, and save 2%.  Now over the next 10 years your policy goes up and up and up and your agent doesn't do anything.  Meanwhile, your friend decides to go with Preferred Insurance Center.  Over the next 10 years, we move his coverage twice to save him 10% each time.  Who paid less over the 10 years?

You may think you are going to get quotes and shop around every 2 years to try to do better than Preferred Insurance Center.  Good luck with that!  Do you really like making all those calls and completing all those applications?  If you do, you probably don't belong at Preferred Insurance Center.  If you are looking for an agency you can count on for a long time to deliver again and again, you've found a match.  

Quick Quote or Thorough Review  

 The most common complaint we get from people when they ask us for a quote is, "You ask so many questions.  No other agent asked near this many questions."  Maybe you should ask yourself, "Why didn't they ask more questions?"

I'll tell you why.  They just wanted to give you a quote as quick as they could so they can get you to sign the application, even if its wrong, and then move on to the next call.  That's not how Preferred Insurance Center works.

We are not here just to give you a quick quote.  We are here to give you an accurate quote, and then advise you about how to change your insurance to serve you better and save you money.  We intend to get it right the first time, and then keep getting it right for years, and years and years.

We'll keep asking the questions other agents would rather avoid.  If you want to take the time to answer them, and listen to some well thought-out advice, you're going to be our client for a long, long time.
